The clinic performs a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including:
- Phlebological examination , which includes a clinical examination and ultrasound examination of the superficial and deep venous system. It determines the degree of chronic venous disease and accordingly advises you on several treatment options, starting with conservative treatment. This includes instructions for a healthy lifestyle, light daily physical activity, prescription of appropriate compression therapy and other components of this treatment method.
- If we determine that you have a defect in the valves of the main veins and are at risk for complications, such as superficial vein inflammation or leg ulcers, or if CVD is causing you significant distress with its symptoms, we will suggest thermal ablation of the veins with a laser, along with the removal of varicose veins .
- If your main veins are healthy or have already been removed, and you have varicose veins with the problems mentioned above, removal of the saphenous veins is suitable for you .
- When you have proven weakness in smaller veins that are hidden in the subcutaneous tissue with or without visible small bluish veins on the thigh and lower leg, the procedure for you is ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy of varicose veins with or without superficial sclerotherapy of varicose veins .
- In many cases, we perform so-called hybrid procedures , combining thermal ablation of large veins with varicose vein removal and chemical ablation with sclerosing of hidden varicose veins in the subcutaneous tissue, which are most often hidden in the lower leg.
The procedures are minimally invasive, allowing for a quick recovery and a quick return to daily activities.
