It focuses on the diseases of the oesophagus, stomach, small and large intestine or the colon and the anus. It also treats the diseases of the abdominal organs, such as the liver and pancreas. Our medical clinic performs gastroenterological and diagnostic examinations of the digestive system: gastroscopy, colonoscopy, rectoscopy and abdominal ultrasound.
Barsos Medical Center MC also performs gastroscopy and colonoscopy on the basis of the concession contract, which means that endoscopic examinations for patients with a referral are free of charge. Patients can make an appointment without a referral, but in this case, the check-up will be payable.

After the clinical examination and the review of your medical documentation, we will recommend possible additional diagnostics and treatment for your digestive problems. The required procedures can also be performed under sedation.

If you are experiencing any difficulties or pain in the digestive system and after you have received a referral. Considering the fact that serious diseases of the upper and lower digestive tract are on the rise, we recommend that everyone above the age of 50 gets a preventive check-up. If you do not have medical insurance (or for any other reason), you can make an appointment as a private patient.
